Spring has sprung at Trailside RV Park

Trailside RV Park HibiscusAt the behest of my favorite copywriter, Dina Giolitto of Wordfeeder.com, I’m posting pics of our spring flowers at Trailside RV Park. We love our flowers here at the park, especially the Wave petunias which are so much easier for us amateur gardeners to grow.

As you can see from the pictures, we’ve also put out geraniums and impatiens. The hibiscus has been here several years. Fortunately, it just keeps going and going year after year.

Purple and white petunias at Trailside RV ParkHopefully, these pretty purple and white petunias will perk up your day as you enter our lobby.

I’m not going to pretend to be some kind of expert on growing flowers here. I spent time searching online for how to properly prune, water, feed and light these babies. We’ll see how well I retain all that info.

I must say one of my favorite times of the day is when I open up each morning and go out to check on my “babies” to see who needs a pinch here and who needs one there and who needs a drink or two. Of course, the first week of tending them was like watching for a pot to boil. We all know how that goes, don’t we? Patience is a virtue. *Sigh*

Trailside RV Park lobby with flowersEarlier this week we had to bring them all in to the lobby cuz ole man winter was threatening to make one-more-drive-by with some frosty stuff. He didn’t make it…think he got held up a little further north of here, thank goodness.

Have any tips or suggestions for this flowering newby? Would love to hear them!
